Why the Armenian Genocide had happen?

The Armenian Genocide had happen because the Young Turk had promised the Ottoman Empire Christian minorities and had lied. They started the extermination of the Armenian race or the Armenian Genocide. They used horrific tactics against the Armenians. One tactic was putting the Armenians underground and suffocated them/blew up.
